Dan Smith I love it when artists dig deep into their archives to release their earliest creative output. This release is from 1996, which is way back in the day, but it doesn't stop Denver from coming up with three groovy tracks that really evolve over time, plus the cover shot is great - living and breathing music with whatever is available in the barest minimum of space. Inspirational. Favorite track: Carefree.

about

These tracks were all recorded at the Red Shed on Normbanby rd in Mt Eden I believe in mid-1996. I have fond memories of my stay there. Amongst those memories was meeting Lloyd-who introduced me one day to the Srimad Bhagavatam-for which I am most grateful.
So the tracks were all done with a Roland MC 202,a Roland drum machine of some sort-that Bernie Ellar(who produced some great tracks, some of which were featured on the Pulse release-Harmonic 695) from the Rock shop lent to me-and a Korg Poly-800.
Actually there were a few different bedroom studios at the Normanby rd-Calum had a studio -doing trance stuff and perhaps Peter Collins also? Anyway Normanby has quite a history-and I lived there for a few months only...
